Case Study
From generic booking page to a demonstrated difference.
Красотка
A ground-up redesign for a beauty and cosmetology studio in Zelenograd, replacing a generic salon booking presence with an editorial site that proves its personalized, specialist-led approach.
Context
Context
Krasotka is a beauty and cosmetology studio in the center of Zelenograd, built around a team of six certified specialists, several of whom have worked in the industry since 1998, offering hair styling and coloring, brow and lash work, bio-epilation, and professional cosmetology. The studio's actual differentiator is a genuinely personalized approach: no client is treated according to a fixed template, every recommendation starts from an assessment of that specific person's features, hair, skin, and lifestyle.
That kind of differentiator is easy to claim and hard to prove, especially in a category crowded with generic salon booking pages that all make similar promises. A studio built on individual expertise and specialist-level training needed a digital presence that could actually demonstrate that difference, rather than asserting it in a single line of marketing copy.

The Problem
The Problem
Local beauty and cosmetology studios largely compete on the same handful of generic booking platforms and templated salon sites, where a highly trained, specialist-led studio like Krasotka looks functionally identical to any other local salon offering the same list of services at a glance. Genuine expertise, training credentials, and years of specialization tend to get lost entirely in that format.
The studio's real strengths, a team trained at recognized Moscow schools and certified in professional product lines like Schwarzkopf, L'Oréal, Matrix, Estel, and Keune, plus a personalized, non-template philosophy toward every client, had no natural place to be communicated in a typical salon site structure.

Strategy
Strategy
The strategy centered on making expertise and personalization tangible rather than asserted. Instead of a single About page claiming a personalized approach, we built an entire section around what that approach actually means in practice: the specific factors a specialist considers, facial geometry, hair structure, skin type, lifestyle, personal style, and desired result, before making any recommendation.
Individual specialist credentials became a core part of the site rather than a footnote. The four service areas, hair, brows and lashes, bio-epilation, and cosmetology, were each given their own clear space rather than folded into one long list.

Wireframes
Wireframes
Wireframes opened with a strong editorial hero built around a real interior photograph of the studio and a clear statement of philosophy, setting the tone before any service details appear. From there, the layout moves through the studio's philosophy, its team's collective expertise and credentials, the four core service areas, the personalized consultation approach, and individual specialist profiles, in that order.
We deliberately placed the personalized approach and specialist credentials before the services list itself, rather than after, since the studio's actual differentiator is the expertise behind the service, not the service in isolation.

Branding
Branding
The visual identity uses a warm, editorial palette with a confident serif headline treatment, giving the studio a considered, boutique feel rather than the brighter, more generic look common across local beauty sites. Real interior photography and portraits of the space replace any generic beauty stock imagery.
Typography and layout were kept restrained and uncluttered, letting the photography and the specialist credentials carry the weight of the message rather than relying on decorative flourishes or an overly busy layout.

Development
Development
The site was built as a fast, editorial static site with clearly structured sections for philosophy, expertise, services, the personalized consultation approach, and the team, each easy to navigate to directly from the main navigation rather than requiring extensive scrolling to find.
Individual specialist profiles were built as their own structured entries, each with training background, certifications, and years of experience. The site is fully in Russian, matching the studio's actual clientele in Zelenograd, and structured for local search.

Results
Results
The studio now has a digital presence that actually demonstrates its differentiator instead of just claiming it: real specialist credentials, a clearly explained personalized consultation approach, and four distinct, well-organized service areas that let a prospective client understand exactly what sets Krasotka apart before ever booking a first visit.
Where the studio used to look functionally identical to any other local salon on a generic booking platform, it now has a considered, editorial presence that reflects the actual expertise and personal attention behind the work.
FAQ
FAQ
Krasotka's real differentiator is expertise and personal attention, not a generic service list. Showing each specialist's training and experience lets a prospective client choose deliberately and builds trust before the first visit.
Through a dedicated section explaining the actual factors a specialist considers before any recommendation: facial geometry, hair structure, skin type, lifestyle, personal style, and desired result, rather than a single line claiming a personalized approach.
Each area, hair, brows and lashes, bio-epilation, and cosmetology, is led by specialists focused specifically on that technique. Separating them lets each be explained properly instead of compressed into a generic list.
Yes. The site is structured for local SEO so it surfaces clearly for beauty and cosmetology searches in and around Zelenograd, rather than relying on word of mouth alone.
